An “Arrangement” consists of moveable cubes set within a shadow box. By painting the six faces of each cube with a different design, the piece carries visual secrets unveiled over time. Every “Arrangement” carries within it six distinctive compositions made by the artist. But, as each cube can be individually rotated or repositioned by the viewer, the number of potential variations is far greater than the artist’s original vision.

Emphasizing and encouraging viewer participation, these works function like a jazz score, permitting innovation within a defined matrix of possibilities.
